The main activity of Estonian Post is the provision of universal postal services. Being a company with the busiest network of activities in Estonia, we provide services to our clients throughout the country in more than 300 structural units.
In addition to traditional postal services, such as the delivery of letters, packages and periodicals, we also provide express, warehouse, transport, financing and other services. We have established traditionsThere are many of us and the more the merrier! We hold summer days and Christmas parties together. We have our letter week, and at Christmastime, office employees can participate in the process of sorting letters and delivering parcels, and thus the mediators of the joy of senders and recipients.We think sustainably and environmentally, and use office supplies made of recycled materials. Together, we also plant trees in spring. The contest for the Best of the Post also causes excitement among our employees, in the course of which the best couriers, client service attendants and letter carriers are identified. We have a fixed salary systemOur company has a fixed and transparent salary system, which, in addition to their basic salary, provides our employees with performance-based pay based on specific criteria. We also pay for overtime and provide additional remuneration for working during evenings and nights. |
We train our employeesWe train our employees, help them to improve their professional qualifications and, if necessary, support their retraining. The employer covers the costs of work-related training and pays salaries to employees during the training period. We value healthWe have our own sports club with a membership of 900 Estonian Post employees. The sports club enables our employees throughout Estonia to participate in sports activities at discount or free of charge in various places. We enable our employees to go for check-ups with their family doctor or a specialist during working hours. If a specialist sends an employee to a sanatorium for treatment, or an employee’s eyesight has worsened and the employee must buy new glasses / contact lens, we also provide financial support. |

We provide additional holidaysWe provide the employees with more holidays than stipulated by law! The employees of Estonian Post are granted winter holidays of up to five working days based the length of their employment.
Furthermore, it is possible for employees to get extra time off for the funeral of a family member, their jubilee birthdays (starting from the 50th birthday), and their child’s first day at school, or their marriage. We shorten the working days even if it is not stipulated by law: A workday preceding Estonian Independence Day, Victory Day and Christmas Eve is shortened by three hours. A workday immediately preceding New Year’s Day is shortened by four hours. A workday preceding other public holidays (Good Friday, Easter Sunday, May Day, Pentecost, and Re-independence Day) is shortened by two hours. According to the collective agreement, we pay our employees holiday return pay. |
We value familiesWe pay support when a child is born, enters the first grade, finishes basic school or upper secondary school. If the state no longer pays parental benefit, we will pay it in a certain amount for a fixed period! If possible, we will financially help employees to buy vouchers of children’s holiday camp. For the employees’ children, we organise a Christmas party, with Santa Claus, of course! |
We provide financial support for happy and sad eventsWe pay financial support for 50th, 60th and 70th birthday, as well as in the case of death of a close relative. When our employee dies, we support his or her family. To make buying Christmas presents easier, we pay a Christmas bonus, if possible! |
